Fresh, intense aromas - this wine combines the rich fruitiness of blackberries and currants with the light spiciness of pepper. On the palate, the Negre '18 is well constituted with a medium body, again fruity, with tannins present and acidity integrated - and you enjoy a lingering finish.
The grapes are harvested in crates of up to 12 kg and sorted by hand during hand picking and again before destemming. The temperature-controlled fermentation in steel and stone tanks lasts an average of 20 to 25 days. Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels with medium toast. The barriques are 50% new, 50% second use.
