Calardis Blanc - 2021 vintage

Calardis Blanc is a new breed from Geilweilerhof. We planted it in one of the first vineyards in the Lake Constance area. After the first practical experiences, Calardis Blanc is very promising in terms of cultivation and taste profile.

Our Calardis Blanc presents itself with aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, gooseberry and exotic notes of passion fruit and lychee. Slight influences of mint and lemon balm complete the complex play of aromas in a fresh-looking finale. The fermentation's own carbonic acid and the acids from the berries are paired with a harmonious sweetness. This combination makes you want another sip, especially on mild summer evenings!
