Affina Reserve Rovere
The Grappa Affina Riserva Rovere, which is dark and well-rounded due to extensive storage, is distilled from pomace from the Rotaliano and Marzemino d'Isera grape varieties native to Trentino. Its balanced taste combines the characterful aromas of the grapes with elegant and decidedly pleasant nuances of the oak wood in which it was allowed to mature for refinement.
The fragrance of the Grappa is very voluminous and complex. On the nose, Affina Riserva Rovere Grappa is reminiscent of vanilla, plums and preserved fruit. Fine nuances of dried blossoms provide flowery tips. This fine and balanced range of aromas is passed on with the taste. The interplay of spicy and floral notes behaves wonderfully on the tongue and is optimally complemented by the softness of the grappa.
Rovere - that's the Italian word for oak wood. 10 years of storage in barrels made of the same make this grappa a "Riserva Rovere". Marzadro Affina is a particularly elegantly designed series of different grappas in a limited annual edition of 1000 bottles. Matching the type of storage, this variant comes in noble oak packaging, whereby the bottle alone is a real eye-catcher.
At Marzadro Grappa Affina Riserva Rovere, the focus is on quality - from the selection of the ingredients to the 10-year aging in oak barrels. The latter is carried out with particularly high-quality wood, which is slotted and shaped in a special way. This creates the elegant color of the grappa, its unmistakable bouquet and its special complexity. The Marzadro Grappa, of which there are only 1,000 bottlings per vintage, is delivered in a noble and shapely 1.0 liter bottle in a wooden case.
