Okris - 2018s

Okris is the successor to the Terre du Levant from the Marrenon family. Everything that was possible during production to increase the quality of the wine was surpassed, despite the small price. Great red wine from the Ventoux for little money.

About the Ventoux area
Ventoux is located in southern France south of the Rhone in the Cote de Provence. Excavations have shown that wine-growing has been going on since 100 BC. In the later centuries, monks refined the wine culture and laid the foundation for today's wine, which is mainly red wine.

The taste
Okris was married to the Grenache and Syrah vines. The Grenache grape variety in particular gives the wine a wonderful fruity note. The preparation of the wine is natural. It is made with natural maceration, which means that the flavors are preserved and transferred to the wine. The red wine is produced by the famous Marrenon winery. The even more intense red wine " Grand Marrenon ", which we also carry, comes from the same house. The 2017 vintage can easily be stored for another 7 years. It brings a lot of joy as an accompaniment to meat and pasta dishes.
