Veritas Vinyes Velles - 2016s

Veritas Vinyes Velles is a beautiful and intense red wine made with grapes from the oldest vines owned by José L. Ferrer. The grapes are Mantonegro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Callet and Syrah, which are hand-picked early in the morning to ensure they are cold when they hit the cellar. Here they are stored for 3 days at 0°C. After this, fermentation begins in selected 500 liter oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine ages for a year before being bottled.

Veritas Vinyes Velles is an aromatic red wine with spicy notes and a wonderfully lingering aftertaste.
