Indi & Co
Botanical Tonic Water
The Spaniards and their Gin & Tonic: a world of their own. Another proof is the Indi & Co Botanical Tonic Water from southern Spain.
The aromatic tonic water is elaborately produced in Puerto de Santa Maria. The production is similar to the gin production. At Indi, too, the botanicals are first soaked in alcohol. After that, the solution goes into glass tanks, where it rests for about two months. Then it's on to the distilling, but gently please - that's what Indi attaches great importance to. The subsequent blending with cane sugar, water and fruit juice means that no alcohol remains in the end product.
The list of ingredients includes black cumin, kalamansi, quinine, orange peel and lemon juice. The carbonic acid is added to the tonic water in Jerez, where it is finally bottled and labelled. With this storage pack you have enough tonic water for 24 ingenious gin & tonics.
