Riserva Ribera del Duero - 2018s

The unique thing about the wines of the Ribera del Duero region is the extremely concentrated fruit of the Tempranillo grape, which is unmatched in any other region in Spain. However, this type of fruit concentration has nothing to do with jam-tasting, one-dimensional fruit. The beguiling fruit is perfectly accompanied by fine tannins, strong structure and elegance and an exciting touch of wildness.

A deep, dark red in the glass. Intense notes on the nose reminiscent of dark, ripe fruits such as blackberries and black cherries, along with aromas of rum pot and some dark chocolate. Great primary fruit on the palate, unusually juicy for a Reserva and very balanced despite the power. A gentle giant! Ribera at it's best.
