Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Anniversario 62 - 2018s

Another birthday gift... because the 62 Anniversario was created to honor the year San Marzano was founded. From the vines of more than sixty years old, from selected vineyards in the municipalities around San Marzano. The overripe grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. After controlled fermentation, the wine matured in French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Inviting and complex fragrance, fruity, with hints of plum, cherry jam and notes of tobacco, slightly spicy. A full-bodied red wine, soft and rich in noble tannins, with notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla on the finish.
