The Pündericher Nonnengarten site is oriented to the south-west, bordering on the Marienburg site. The soil consists mainly of red weathered slate with loamy parts. A special flavor and earthy components in addition to the typical slate minerality are the typical properties that characterize Rieslings grown here. Firm nose, mineral, slightly nutty and slightly yeasty, yellowish aromas and a hint of tobacco. Quite juicy, relatively tart fruit with dried vegetal, nutty and yeasty notes and again clear mineral notes, elegant acidity, noticeable grip, tannins that are still very slightly drying, good substance and persistence, hint of dark berries, very good, firm, quite a bit of mineral again departure.
